Gli acquarelli di Piero Gentilini.

In queste pagine vengono presentati gli acquarelli prodotti principalmente dal 2000 in poi. Per molte delle precedenti opere prodotte, a partire dal 1978, non vi è disponibilità di immagine fotografiche.

Dal 1978 al 1999, compreso un lungo periodo di pausa produttiva, diversi sono stati gli acquarelli realizzati per mostre, concorsi (con riconoscimenti e premi vari) e privati.

The watercolors by Piero Gentilini.

In these pages the watercolors produced mainly from 2000 onwards are presented. For many of the previous works produced, starting from 1978, there is no availability of photographic images.

From 1978 to 1999, including a long period of productive pause, there were several watercolors made for exhibitions, competitions (with various awards and prizes) and private ones.

La differenza sostanziale tra il primo periodo ed il secondo sta nella tecnica realizzativa. Nel primo periodo, nelle opere era presente anche una traccia di disegno a china, oltre all'acquarello.

Nel secondo periodo, la ripresa della produzione, la china ha lasciato quasi completamento il posto all'acquarello.

In questa pagina, a testimonianza di questo processo, ci sono quattro opere (la prima, la terza, la quinta e la sesta), dove ancora c'è una presenza, ma molto limitata di china, a definire la struttura del disegno. Resta appena percettibile comunque il disegno a matita.

The substantial difference between the first period and the second lies in the construction technique. In the first period, in the works there was also a trace of ink drawing, in addition to the watercolor.

In the second period, the resumption of production, the china left almost complete the place to the watercolor.

On this page, as evidence of this process, there are four works (the first, the third, the fifth and the sixth), where there is still a presence, but a very limited presence, to define the structure of the drawing. However, the pencil drawing remains barely perceptible.

Solo in pochissime opere, in questa fase, per una necessità di linguaggio, si ritrova la china.

Diverse opere di questa prima pagina sono acquarelli presentati ad una personale, realizzata proprio dopo una lunga pausa di produzione di acquarelli. Pausa durante la quale si è dedicato alla scenografia, oltre a svolgere il lavoro di grafico.
