Dopo un'altra pausa di produzione di opere ad acquarello, di nuovo, nel 2012, in occasione di una mostra "Il Giardino Segreto", realizza quatro opere, anche queste un pò surreali, che ancora di più pongono al centro dell'attenzione un tema molto sentito.  .............................................. Sono quattro opere legate tra loro, da un grido di allarme, unito alla speranza nelle prossime generazioni, per il rischio di non riuscire a comprendere abbastanza che l'uomo non deve consentire che si distrugga il proprio ambiente ed habitat ed al tempo stesso la propria vita. Soprattutto che si capisca che un sentimento di sensibilità non è un sinonimo di debolezza umana, ma di forza ed intelligenza.
Anche in questo si trova una risposta alle nostre domande sull'esistenza. Se si crede in qualcosa la si rispetta. Anche questo da un senso alla nostra vita. .............................................. Gli acquarelli e l'arte di Piero Gentilini desiderano anche dire che lo stile scelto da un artista è solo uno strumento, è il suo linguaggio, con il quale qualsiasi artista, con qualsiasi genere artistico e tecnica scelti, vuole comunicare.
Lo si può fare ad esempio, con la pittura, con la scultura, con il disegno, tramite il figurativo, l'astratto. L'arte non si fa con le etichette o le definizioni, quelle qualcuno le adotta dopo la nascita di un opera, che nasce per prima. A volte le definizioni servono al dialogo per comprendere meglio, ma a volte vengono strumentalizzate dalle mode. ..............................................
